Proceedings

Basic information about the workshop proceedings:

The proceedings for this workshop will be published by Physica Scripta.
Main editor is Polychronis Papaderos. Co-editors are Nils Bergvall, Thomas Marquart and Göran Östlin. You can contact the editors by writing to editors2008 AT star-forming-dwarfs.org.
The proceedings are subsidized by the Swedish Research Council, Vetenskapsrådet.
The volume is expected to comprise 250-300 pages and will be printed in black and white. The cover will be in color.
Each participant will get a paper volume sent to the address provided during registration.
Apart from the participants' main contributions, we intend to include edited transcripts of the discussions and a collaborative review article.

Information for authors:

The deadline for submission of your proceeding article is December 15, 2008.
The page limitation for 20 or 30 minutes talks and posters is 6 pages, including figures. If you gave a 45 minute talk, you can fill up to 8 pages.
Information about the LaTeX template will be provided soon, but you can start by using plain LaTeX.
If you use color, please make sure your figures are readable even in b/w print.
An upload form where you can submit your contribution will be provided in time on this webpage.
In addition to your main contribution, we would like to encourage each participant to write a concise (up to one page) answer to the following question:
Which is/are, in your opinion, the most interesting unsolved problem(s) (up to 3) concerning star-formation in dwarf galaxies and how should it/they be tackled?
The answers will be compiled in a separate section of the proceedings.
